Project Description:

Ask the Kat "What happened last night?"

Physical Board Game

Design and manufacture a board game prototype restricted to the specific scenario/storyline capable of interacting with specialized dice in order to automatically output the value of the roll to the computer software platform. Utilize wireless energy transfer to power the dice, which of course must also balance out; near casino quality.

Computer Software Platform

Video Conferencing of all players in a 3d environment; perhaps a board on a table with conferencing screens encircling the table. So long as everyone remains in view. C++ is our preferred language for this venture. USB or Wireless interaction with board.

Graphics

We will provide graphics for the board, cards, packaging, etc.
3d meshes will be done by you or your team.

3d Objects

The physical board game will need to be mimicked in the software. Several environments would be great to provide a change of scenery. Anywhere you can play a board game in real life... Beach, Mars, Jungle, Waterfall, etc.

Legal Research

Can we sell an online drinking game or does it perhaps promote excessive drinking?
Can we market breweries and distilleries?

The final results/products we need...
AutoCAD/3DS MAX Files of the board, dice, cards, and environment.
C++ Source Code.
MultiSim Circuits with Screenshot of successful simulation.
Solidworks Files of the dice casing, circuitry, and board with room for internal circuits and wireless energy emitter.
Compiled installation file of the software.

We're ready when you are.

Skills required:

C++ Programming, Electrical Engineering, Legal Research, Manufacturing Design, Social Networking

What about just cam recognition of the dice played ?
How many dice at a time would you process ?

If you stick on specialized dice with communication facility, I think it is technically possible with passive RF-ID using the zigbee protocol, however the develloppment of such a solution will definitely not be in the budget range you specify.
