I need some one very professional in managing serversI have 2 servers connected to NAS storage by private network
one of server has linux and another one windows server 2008
my problem is when the downloading getting increased the server will shutdown
what is my site for?
I have website for downloading files (more than 2 TB)
you have to subscribe in the site by paying money so you will get points depending how much did you pay
and by this points you can download
so I want the server to handle big number of connections like http://rapidshare.com

Actually problem in your server must be like below.
1. Your server might have best hardwares and softwares installed
2. But configuration in server is made generally (or) not intact with hardware/software
3. Some optimisation utilities are not installed in the server
4. Functionality/performance of server have not been checked regularly.
