Good day, my name is Michael P. Morrissey, Mike for short, and I have been programming with Visual Basic 6.0 for almost 13 years now and I could do this for you in about seven days.
My idea is that of a program that starts with the OS, sits in the systray, and does its thing in the background. The format of the file names saved to the directory of choice would be yyyymmddhhmmss so right at the moment the file name would be 20100801052723.jpg
Click on the Icon in the systray and a dialog would pop up that would allow you access to the options. These options would be to start screen capture automatically or manually with start and stop buttons. Set the directory to where these files are to be saved and set the interval between each time the application takes a screen shot.
