Project Description:
I have a lot of videos on my server in AVI and WMV format. They all need to be converted to MP4 format suitable for playing on Iphone, Ipad and Android phones.My server cannot handle conversion of these videos all at once, as the load to do this is too heavy and slows the server down too much.
I need someone to write a script to convert these videos one by one with ffmpeg. Maybe by running it with crontab a few times a day.
The source videos are organized in 350 subfolders in one main folder. Each folder will have at least 1 and at most 4 videos.
The converted MP4 video should be placed in one single destination folder with no subfolders.
New videos are added to mian folder once or twice a week.
