I'm interested in building a Vacation Rental Portal where owners register and fill out the information on their properties pay a fee upload photos and renter come in and search for vacation rentals in an area they are looking for vacation.A quick search of freelancer.com has revealed that their are a lot of us looking to build the same type of V.R. Portal (Jus search "Vacation rental" One of you freelance guys should spend some time and develop a great backend to the site and resell it to all of us with a different front end.
There is a site www (d0t) vacationrentaldirect (d0t) com which is what I'm looking for. I would like all the features of that site. The same look and feel.. The same backend features.. Ect.. Just a different graphical front end.
Please go to vacationrentaldirect and look through the site and give me a bid price.. I'll then probably pick somone and create a more specific list of the features and things on the site that we want to make sure the bid price doesn't change.
If you have created a Vacation rental portal before and have a backend already created GREAT.. Send me a link to what you have done.
A few things:
If you have never done a V.R. portal site before I'm not going to pay alot of money upfront.. Especially if you don't have a lot of feedback on here.
If you don't have a lot of feedback (and want to build up your positive feedback on a big project) and have gone through vacationrentaldirect and are sure you can duplicate the sites features and look and feel, Then I'm open to working with you if you propose somonething to me where you build the site and keep it on your server and I'll pay after you finish it and then after I pay you can release the site to me.
If you have alot of positive feedback and have created a V.R. portal I don't have a problem paying a larger portion up front.
Ok I'm going to end this with a very simple request. When you reply to the project with your bid start your reply with " I have looked at the vacationrentaldirect site" This will tell me that you have read this proposal and looked at the site I want to model mine after and just aren't sending me a canned reply.
I'm very serious about this project and looking to start ASAP.
