He would give 15 minutes test to about ten people and he gets a complete set of 150 minutes. His job is done!! Bravo!

yes, I am curious about this. Couldn't someone send us all different sample pages and then have the whole project done for free? Is this normal for translation jobs? I am pretty new to this so am wondering.

This person has posted the same project on a different site, same text for the description, but not the same title. And they missed some editing to make it NOT say GAF in the posting. I was invited for the job there, responded and asked for more information as well as gave my rates and got no
response, job is still open. I am terminating my application as I have no time to waste on non serious people. I agree that the terms posted here are sounding fishy and a 15 minutes transcription for a sample is a little too much.

Hi,
I totally agree with monimom. This project seems awkward and the so-called accord7777 is messaging people in private telling them "Here is 15 minutes sample
Your test that you need to do well
is to transcribe the french conversation into perfect written English as soon as
possible today."
???? 15 minutes to transcribe and to translate as a sample test!!!! This could be a whole project!!!
Anyway, it's quite suspicious! beware!

Hi, I have a confusion here, you first said:
Approximately 10 HOURS OF ORAL RECORD OF FRENCH NEEDS TO BE TRANSCRIBED INTO WRITTEN WORD DOCUMENT IN FRENCH
Then you said below:
You must be fluent in transcribing oral French into excellent written English.
So, if I am not
wrong, there's 2 jobs to do, transcribing and a translating.
If you want a good quality job $5 is too low and $15 is average. I've been working making transcriptions and the minimun I received is $22 per hour.
Dont you think 15 minutes of audio for a test it is too much?
