Project Description:
Dear Sirs,We plan to build an International Website / Mobile Application where local members (subscribers) of several countries can download and convert interesting POI data for their various different GPS on board devices.
To start, we would like to offer GPS POI data of Traffic Hot Spots (Speed, Redlight cameras etc.):
a) Free service for Regular Members
b) a monthly Fee based service for Premium Gold Members
The difference between Regular Members and Premium Gold Members shall be the up-to-dateness of the POI-files offered.
Another requirement shall be that only “Trusted Members” may report Realtime POI to the update server.
A Trusted Member is any Member (Free or Premium Gold) that has been a Member for at least 2 months. A member shall also not report more than 1 new Hot Spot per week to the update server.
You will need to pre-install most current POI-files of at least 20 countries and manage their flexibility to update automatically when Trusted Members report new POI. Also, all POI-files must be converted to the most common formats that Members use in their various GPS devices. All Premium Gold Members must get enabled to update their POI-files on demand both online or via their mobile device.
If you think you understand the problem and you have developed similar application, feel free to offer your solution to this project.
