Virtual Production Team I have been a DJ for 13 years.. and wanted to move toward producing music. (But don't have any experience) rather than spend 13 more years learning the ends and out of this genre, I thought about how cool it would be create a virtual team where we would create bounce ideas off each other and create a final project that could be sold. I have also got an MBA and so have had a lot of success collaborating and building successful teams. From the best bids. I will select a person to help select the other members of the team: A small team of very talented people is my preference since that will allow more money to be shared. Based on how many people we need. My goal would be create music initially for hip-hop and top 40. I have a large collection of music. So I have a strong sense of what is commercially viable. I would use these tracks as a baseline. Use different instruments. Add musical elements for uniqueness and what is current in demand by pop culture. I anticipate some amount of editing is going to be needed for studio recording so. Someone who has strong skills in the final part to completion will be needed, as I have no idea at this point. The process in a nutshell. I throw out and idea. Filter it through great talents and minds. We filter it through a team and market it to the industry. Let me know what role you could play and any supporting productions material. PAY AT THIS POINT: None until we start to work together and create sales. I am only willing to work with those who have vision and faith in their work to be commercially viable. We will use SKYPE, and other virtual meeting tools. Since talent will come from around the world. You will be working on the project as contractor so all outputs will be owned by newly created entity. |
