To whom it may concern,

Good morning. I would like to speak with you concerning a potential full-time freelance situation.

At first, the tasks would be to modify Flash experiences and their existing Action Script 3 (AS3) code (bug fixes) and other enhancements. Also some php, mySQL, etc... This position would eventually lead to development.

Greetings, I'm a developer with over 10 years experience with web development with a strong focus on Flash and Actionscript. I worked in various scenarios, from being part of small start-ups to leading a team of developers in large projects for blue-chip clients. As I provider I'm able to bring you exceptional skills with Flash and Actionscript as well as PHP, SQL, XML, RTMP and AMF. I will provide optimized code developed using OOP, and will use frameworks such as PureMVC or Robotlegs when beneficial. I also do HTML/CSS/JS, but do not enjoy as much to work on projects where that is the main focus. I have a decent sense of usability and UI layout, but the visual design is not my strong side. But I can use most the common design tools, and can implement and extend provided designs. Last few years my focus have been a lot on Flash audio applications such as a waveform editor and online sequencer. The latest project I have done is for a company called Musicmyne. It's an audio remixing tool where I have been responsible for development of the Flash client as well as an AIR application to compile collections of mp3's into the custom .myne format used. It's not properly launched yet, but you can try out the application here: http://campaign.musicmyne.com/rebound-hurricane Another example of recent work I have done is a poker hand history replayer for gutshot.com: http://www.gutshot.com/replayer.php?id=3008 For that project I have done both the flash client as well as the back-end for parsing and searching hand histories using PHP and MySQL.
