Project Description:

If this looks familiar, it's because it is. My previous service provider fell through, so I am reposting this project.

I'm looking for a clone of utahbuild.com, but for California and maybe all 50 states. It is a service directory for builders and construction related companies. They pay to advertise on the site and to be listed. If we do all 50 states, it shouldn't be much more difficult as the backend will basically be the same. If we go the all 50 states route, i envision that we'll use subdomains for each state. Example: california.clonedsite.com

utahbuild.com is heavy on the advertising as you'll see. Let's figure out some way to make sure that its easy to upload an ad and be able to track it with statistics, collect payment, etc.

I'm open to ASP or PHP. To me, the programming language doesn't matter too much. I don't care which route we go really as long as it is fast, functionable, and scalable.

Above all, it needs to be as automated as possible. I don't want to spend a bunch of time babysitting it.

My budget is small. If you can work within my range, that would be great. If you can't, please do not post a bid.

I don't really like the front page of utahbuild.com. It's too busy for me, although it is functional. I'm looking for something clean, fresh, in style, and easy to use. Please provide a mock-up of the front page. Best bid + mock-up demo wins the project.

Also, if you have experience with these types of successful sites, any advice would be appreciated.
