I'm developing a new vBulletin 4.2.1 forum site and I need a coder/developer that is very proficient at vBulletin. I myself can do most of the Admin CP work which is self-explanatory, but most of the work that I need done is style coding in CSS.
The coder must be able to work with me at the same time online and be able to communicate with me via any messenger, preferably Skype. We both will be working from a checklist of instructions and when the task is done, I will then refresh page so I can see the cosmetic change.
If the change was done incorrectly then it could be changed instantly at that moment instead of wasting time going back to this same area to make that change again...doing these cosmetic changes "on-the-fly" is important for this job and a fast working relationship.
Eligible applicants must have a very good knowledge and a lot of work experience with vBulletin specifically, and being able to prove it. I need to have clear honesty in past vBulletin work history. I’m looking for only a vBulletin specialist, and don’t want to waste time with someone inexperienced in vB.
I want 1 person to do the job, I don’t want my project being passed around to a team of people with everyone writing their own code just to get the job done. I can’t have any bad code written or someone whom is going to just mess up my site where I'm going to have to re-fix it later on. I’ve just been through this process a month ago with someone whom didn't know what they were doing and I had to scrap that installation and skin in the trash. I don't want to do that again.
You will be part of a 2-man team, I already have a vBulletin specialist in the states but he can only work half the time. You both will be checking over each other’s code for any mistakes, clean code is essential. I need this 2nd coder to work everyday on this project until site completion, it will probably take 3 weeks time. Please email me at marktosa at gmail or Skype me at marktosa if you are interested in discussing the project.
