Project Description:

I'm looking for someone who is very familiar with OsCommerce that can customize the shopping cart so that different users can build their own instance of the cart.

For example:

Company ABC can come in and add their logo and address, then choose which products they want to sell on the store from the core database. Then the store would be accessed though companyABC.theeccomercestore.com and only display the items they've chosen. Then company XYZ can come in and create their custom store based on their profile and choose their items. Their store would be companyXYZ.theeccomercestore.com.

Basically a unique store builder that dynamically builds a customization of the site on the fly that would simply display the designated company's logo and address in the template.

I will provide design template and OScommerce will be installed already.

If you are aware of another shopping cart solution that would be a better starting point than oscommerce I'd also be open to hearing about it as an alternative.
