Project Description:
Im looking for an experienced JavaScript/AJAX developer to build a google pages (pages.google.com) and portal (netvibes.com) hybrid.Attached are a few mock up screen shots of a mixing of the google pages and netvibes content. The final outcome of using the page building will be saving the page as static html with references to loading the ajax/dynamic content modules (without user control). Consider it a build your own portal and then share it kind of thing.
The application will make the page completely customizable, editing of text, adding images, colors, backgrounds etc. They will have the ability to add content/modules that they will have control of. They will be able to choose a few pre defined layouts that will help keep the page organized. Everything should snap into those grids and keep the page somewhat tidy.
Adding modules to the system must be extremely easy for myself (users can not upload new modules). Im open to module/add-on management ideas, as i dont have my mind set on anything yet (so please make suggestions in how this will work in your bid). I ask that the developer make two sample modules for use of testing and for my better understanding.
Please submit all samples/links and any ideas you might have for bettering this project. My mind is not completely set on anything but an end product. I’m offering some creative control and open to suggestions and ideas. If you have any questions please ask, happy bidding.
