My website consists of files ending in .html and files ending in .php spread across multiple folders. I am looking for the exact entry I add to my top level .htaccess file to make sure all *.html pages use http and all *.php pages use https. This needs to be a general rule, I cannot enter a line item for each specific page. All my links to .php pages contain https so I guess I just need to make sure all *.html pages use http instead of https and that will achieve my goal. To prove that you've read the details of what I'm asking, please use the phrase 'requirements were thoroughly read' at the top of your reply as I will only consider applications that use this text.
Please note that I am looking for the exact entry that you have tested. If you give me an entry and it doesn't work I do not have time to go back and forth and test it with you, otherwise I could just figure it out myself.
