We have a cron job using php and mysql to parse every line from maillog and save them into db separately as a new entry. We want you to: - Filter unwanted emails out (do not save in the db); straightforward - do not save any email that does not have 14 characters in the recipient email - Combine several lines -coming from maillog parser that correspond to one email with a unique email identifier- into one row of db entry and save info from these lines -sender email, recipient email, time, alias email, recipient mail status - Make sure cron job updating works smoothly after the db entry adjustment and we get the new maillog data correctly at each update |
