Short Story Writing - The Maze

In a similar vein to the Fenyx Sword, I set about to create these wings and they ended up being my most complicated and detailed design to date. Not only are they worn by a cosplayer, they also had a few very specific requirements to be included in the design including little to no supports, LEDs built-in, they needed to house gems and other elements such as the feathers, and they needed to be worn like a backpack on the cosplayer's back! It was a challenge and a half, but over 3kg of filament later, they came out looking incredible!

This model was for a newly released game which my client had been hired to cosplay for. I took to Fusion and designed the sword in it's entirety, after which we 3D printed it and they cast the blade out of resin. One great thing about this project in partiuclar is that there are simply no files which match these in quality or complexity. The sword even has a compartment in the hilt to allow for a battery to power the LEDs that run along the blade.

My client and I could not find a model suitable enough, with high enough detail and accuracy to 3D print for their cosplay. So I set about designing these awesome little grenades for them! They turned out brilliantly. While printed in multiple parts, they click together and include a hollow cavity for batteries and electronics, too!
