I want a dynamic spread sheet for kids sports. Users of the spreadsheet should be able to input:The name of the teamThe coaches name email and phone numberThe assistant coaches name, email and phone number (if applicable)The managers name email and phone number (if applicable)Number to call for cancellations (if applicable)The number of players on the teamThe names of the playersThe positions being playedThe number of games being playedThe time units being played: quarters-four units, halves two-units, periods 3 units, innings 5, 6,7, 8, 9 units) The dates, time and location of games. If they are delegating snack responsibility to the players for each game, whether they want to select who is responsible or just have the (this) spreadsheet select who is responsible. The end result is a spreadsheet (aka duty roster) displaying what position each kid is playing and when, with time played and positions played equally divided between the players. If there are more players than positions then these players will be "on the bench" as alternates (Alternate 1 is the first kid to be put in if another is absent, alternate 2 is the next kid in...) Each game should show who is responsible for the snack. The product of all this data should display similar to attached spread sheet. Note how the names cascade diagonally for the rotation of positions and how that rotation caries over to the next game. The B1, B2, and B3 is "the bench" and I would have preferred that they be to the far right of the matrix, but I could not figure out how to do it without screwing up the rotation. If you can figure out a way to do that, that would be great, I just don"t want a kid sitting on the bench two time "units" in a row. If not, maybe just shade those cells...
