Our company currently has an iPhone app that contains data within a SQLite database, which is stored on our website and downloaded to the app on startup. We would like to create a login feature to our website that would allow a user to log in and edit the content rather than having our designer manually make the edits. The app database is a simple database that contains information about local businesses. Currently we only have one app for one town, but would like to expand to others in the future. As such, we are hoping to have the login and DB management system be designed in a way that is scalable and capable of being added to a later time. As we spread to other towns, we will set up regional admins for those areas who need to be able to manage only their town"s app"s information. Users who log in should have the following abilities: - Set up business accounts - View/edit all info - Also manages 411 information (local contacts - police, fire, public restrooms, etc.) - Manages events for their region. The events are currently stored in a separate XML feed on our webpage. - Manage deals for the business. The deals are currently stored in a separate XML feed on our webpage. Also, not necessary but if possible within our budget, we"d like to initiate a scheduled task that checks the current date against the end date of an event and removes the event if it has passed. Our company currently has an iPhone app that contains data within a SQLite database, which is stored on our website and downloaded to the app on startup.
