I have extensive voice over and production experience. I also have superior research, writing and organization skills.
My Broadcast career started as a teen in 1975 where I began as a radio announcer at WVOL in Nashville, TN. (yes Oprah and I started at the same radio station as teenagers.) From there I was hired as a staff announcer at WPTH/WPTA television in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I also worked as the morning drive radio personality at WCMX Fort Wayne. I 1977 I enlisted in the United States Army where I served for 11 years as a Broadcast Journalist working in both the print and electronic media.
As a Non-commissioned officer in the United States Army, I worked as a broadcast journalist. My assignments, responsibilities and duties were... multi-faceted. As a journalist I worked in military broadcast facilities and networks in Europe, Turkey and Public Affairs offices in the United States. I served as an announcer, narrator, reporter, station manager, program director working in both television and radio production, reporting, editing and voiceover.
While on active duty I won several major broadcast awards to include; The Department of Defense Thomas Jefferson Award, The prestigious Department of Defense “Keith L. Ware Award,” and (2) Forces Command Fourth Estate Awards for broadcast and military Journalism.
I have lived and worked in Atlanta, Georgia for the past 21 years as a Real Estate Broker and owner. Although I still maintain an very active presence as a voiceover actor and continue to work in the industry and have participated in many projects over the years.
