I have a fully working ecommerce website. I want to add a wordpress blog to the website. I will install wordpress and set it up. I have an issue with Magento's calculation of products with options which contain fixed and a percentage price type on Simple Products.It seems the final price is derived from the base price, and not the options plus the percentages. I believe there's a way to make it so users can comment without joining or logging in with Facebook.RANKING:On the main page, I would like to rank posts that have gotten the most votes in the last 7 days (most votes of the entire site).On each other page I would like the posts ranked for most all-time up-votes (for each category page, tag page, etc). You will see what I mean in the 'STRUCTURE' section of this email, but if the user is viewing the William Shakespeare page of the site I want to show him the posts ranked by all-time up-votes.WHAT'S NEW:I would like to have a 'What's New' page as one of the top nav menu pages. On that page, we will display the posts chronologically (like a blog) so users can browse posts in chronological order.STRUCTUREFor structure of the site, I would like to have each post be able to be both Categorized, Tagged and Sourced. Then I would like to make the posts browse-able by category, tag and source.CATEGORIESWe will have set categories like these. 'Romantic', 'Funny', etc. there will only be one category per post.I would like users to be able to browse posts by category like this: http://www.SITE.com/category/romantic/TAGSTags will be more customizable--people can just make up new tags for posts and any registered user can suggest tags (will need to be approved by an admin). People can tag them, 'love', 'poetry', 'movies', etcKind of like in Wordpress, I would like people to be able to browse posts by tag: http://www.SITE.com/tag/love/SOURCESource will be only the person or book/movie where the post comes from. There will be only one source per post. I would also like to allow users to browse the site by source. So they could click on 'Gabriel Garcia Marquez' and see posts only by that author. For example: http://www.SITE.com/tag/gabriel-garcia-marquez/ But I would like the Source system to be separate from the Tag system.For browse-ability, we will have the main categories on the right-hand side of the page. Like this: http://d.pr/i/8uZL and the main tags in a tag cloud. Like this: http://d.pr/i/YP7e For sources, we will have an A-Z directory of sources. For example, SITE.com/frases-de/A, SITE.com/frases-de/B, etc with a list of names that go to each source page.
