We are setting up a Hotel website. The website will call on a xml api provided by an existing travel company (well developed api) which offers rates and availability in several currencies as well as content in several languages. The site will not transact itself as it will be an affiliate but it will enable the travel company to transact via messages to their api.In brief, website needs the following:5 page website / booking path1. Home Page a. Predictive text search b. configurable blocks / banners c. Option of currency and language 2. Search results a. show lists of hotels with images, descriptive content, rates, availability, rating, address etc..3. Accommodation Page a. show details of hotel, room types, rates and availability, images, book button, address etc..4. Payment Page a. will pass customers details onto the partner for transaction.5. Confirmation Page a. will confirm booking based on the success response from the travel company.For examples of site designs, please see booking.com, hotels.com, orbitz.com etc..The content would ideally go into a cms where this could be adapted. The site should be reasonably configurable to allow changes. Should use cloud based servers where necessary.Ideally, I would like someone experienced in xml transactions and affiliate sites, cms, and knowledge of travel systems preferred.
