Skills
Writing/Editing
My primary training is in the art of putting words together. In addition to an extensive
educational background in journalism, English and technical communication, I have almost two decades of communication experience. Bylines include the Kansas City Star, The Lawrence Journal-World and the University Daily Kansan. In addition, I functioned as the unofficial backup to the public information officer at TSJC, and often helped write and produce a number of marketing and press materials. Currently, I help to write and edit technical, legislative and financial copy for the Colorado Department of Revenue; I am also an active blogger and online columnist.
