PCG has successfully assisted the Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board (BWSSB) in filing a representation to the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC), against the proposed tariff increase by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), the erstwhile Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB), during the year 2001-02. As a result BWSSB has been able to achieve a 17% reduction in tariff, from the one proposed by the Electricity Utility before the Regulator, amounting to annual savings of about Rs. 25 Crores per annum. Based on the success achieved, PCG was further retained for the subsequent year to assist them in the same task.
PCG also carried out the market study for Kerala State Bamboo Corporation Limited on Bamboo-mat board with glass fibre-plastic/PU composite during the period May – June 2005. Bamboo-ply or Bamboo-mat board is an eco-friendly and wood-substitute panelling Board fast catching up in the market. This tab should the show how over time the initial investment would evolve. It should also add the opportunity to put away money everytime the investment generated a certain percantae of gain. In essence this tab should give an overview of how an investment behaved over time if (just like in casino) the investment is doubled or multiplied with a certain number x every time the minus percantage y is reached. As a result BWSSB has been able to achieve a 17% reduction in tariff, from the one proposed by the Electricity Utility before the Regulator, amounting to annual savings of about Rs. 25 Crores per annum. Based on the success achieved, PCG was further retained for the subsequent year to assist them in the same task. PCG also carried out the market study for Kerala State Bamboo Corporation Limited on Bamboo-mat board with glass fibre-plastic/PU composite during the period May – June 2005. Bamboo-ply or Bamboo-mat board is an eco-friendly and wood-substitute panelling Board fast catching up in the market. The market study involved the assessment of market potential, marketability and demand estimation for bamboo-composite boards and roofing/panelling sheets covering the metro cities in South India.
