As the guide will still be doing all the talking there is no need for audio, just photos and video clips.When informed by the guide to enter a particular number at a particular location, this will take the viewer to a per-determined slide in the app. The slide will either show a photo or a video clip. The idea is that the iPads will augment the walking tour that I will be giving by enabling me to show photos and videos related to the subjects I am talking about. So, essentially, I need a very low-tech app which functions as a photo album whereby people browse by code numbers, which the real-life tour guide gives to them during the tour. The app will include 3 functions, 2 of them would be remote clickers that will take pictures. #1 function will be a 10 second delay, so once the iphone is set in position to take a picture the button is clicked and 10 seconds later the picture is taken. Function number two would work by choosing the the app and allowing an incoming call from any phone to trigger the camera app and take a picture.   This app will be for clients to book a ride. In some cases they will be drunk and requesting a sober driver, in others they will be requesting a chauffeur. Regardless, the app will accept payments so PCI Compliance is mandatory. There will be three different authorization levels - client, staff, and admin. Salting and hashing of passwords is also required during the authentication process. The client level will have booking functionality, and the system will email a confirmation to the user once they have booked. They can request a particular driver at the time of booking if they would like to. Registration for an account is available, but not required. GPS/geolocation will be used to auto-fill the current address as the pickup address, but this can be overridden. The staff level will allow drivers to track the bookings assigned to them, and should show map points so they can visually see their schedule. The staff should also receive an email when they have been requested, where they can accept or reject (must provide a reason for rejecting) the request. If accepted, only show that booking to the driver and admins, and email confirmation to the client. If rejected, it should go to a list of unaccepted bookings which are available for any driver to accept. After a period of time, admins should be notified if the booking still hasn"t been accepted. The list of unaccepted bookings should contain the timestamp of origination. If a different driver (other than who was requested) accepts the booking, the client should be emailed the name of the new driver. Login functionality will be required for staff and admins. The driver"s schedule should be presented in something like a TableView that"s easy for them to view and understand, and they should have the option to switch to map view.
