    TASKYour task should be done in Matlab 2007 in the Texas Instruments area of the University systems.You will create a sine wave signal at 1 kHz, and amplitude 0.1 (no units) using the DSP sine wavegenerator. You will then add to the sine wave signal a noise signal, created using ‘random source’, ofamplitude 0.1 and uniform sampling. Then use FDATOOL to design a filter that has the function ofeliminating the audible noise and passing the sine wave. In other words it must decrease theamplitude of the noise by 40 dB. The system sampling rate is 16 kHz. The filter should be ofmaximum 8th order. Make particularly sure you check the signal carefully when doing audio monitoring. It is good practice to hold the headphones away from yourhead when checking signal levels.You will then need to plan and execute a series of tests on your design which must use the timescope and spectral analysis plots before and after filtering. You may use the vector concatenatefunction to combine the signals to reduce the number of spectrum plots. The time scope can beconfigured for two input signals. Use the audio output to help you to discern whether your filter hasworked but remember that it does not cooperate well with the two scopes so you will need aswitching facility or separate with audio/without audio models.
