We have completed 4 Science related DVD geared toward middle and elementary school students. It is kind of like the "Bill Nye The Science Guy" series, only more kid driven. We are looking for four separated DVD cover designs that are very similar. The four are a series and related to each other, although they are to be sold separately. Basically, it is one design with three variations. We will also need the artwork for the DVD itself. The DVD does not have to be four color (B&W is ok). We want a look that is bright, teen appeal, and fun. This is our first commercial project so our budget is very limited. But if we choose you we will be a loyal business partner. So, thought I"d best be honest and tell you I"m not in a position to pay big fees for this job, but I"m informed that as its a fairly basic logo and stationary job, it should be easy for a good designer to do in a short time frame.BRIEF- I intend to offer a property / site finding consultancy in the North of England trading as Acquire with a strapline of "Estate & Acquisition Consultants" Basically, the company searches out land property and sites for large business to buy.So I am in need of a logo creating / corporate branding for business cards, letterhead and possibly continuation paper. MY THOUGHTS:-I have an idea of the business card being azure or turquoise in the top right blue with 2 orange cats eyes looking in from this section So the colour scheme could be turquoise / blue white and a small amount of orange. Ok I am re listing this project after having no success with the last attempt, please be sure you are happy with the price quoted and and the finer details of the project before quoting.The project is very similar to our current site www.nexgen-embroidery.co.uk the problem we are having with this site is the fixed cms is not allowing the control we would like. We have created the graphics and screen shots for this project and we have the product database in mysql, mssql and xml format.I have started learning php and mysql coding using dreamweaver so unless there are any major drawbacks to using this I would like to stick with it so I will have the ability maintain and control the site myself of course if you recommend the use of wordpress or jumla etc to save on time and expense then I am open to that .The developer needs to be fluent with mysql database integration and how to manipulate that database and dynamically populate product information displayed using php and javascript.Pay close attention to the quotation system shown on a product page this allows a customer to select an item be given a price on quantity purchased which is given dynamically based on a % of database given figure.By entering choices on print type required a customer is then given a price for print cost based on their selections, ie is the product white, is the image complex how many printable locations are there, these options might then need other options for example if customer selects complex image colour they will then be asked how many colours. All these options will effect the price per print and will need to be as dynamic as possible with me being allowed to alter these prices via a database, so there will be 2 main database tables one for product and one for print type cost.. The 2 values are added together to give customer dynamically driven quotation. I need an Arabic speaking magazine layout designer for a 190 pages magazine layout project. The successful bidder will be my support buddy since I do not know Arabic. Therefore DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT AN ARABIC NATIVE SPEAKER!!! The successful bidder must be proficient in InDesign and/or QuarkXPress with an online portfolio of PRINT works. I am especially interested in PRINT, not ONLINE. So DON"T BID IF YOU DON"T HAVE AN ONLINE PORTFOLIO OF PRINT WORKS!!! Of course, you don"t have to have all your works in Arabic, but you must prove that you had previous projects of Arabic printed materials. The successful bidder will work closely with me and just for the layout and text corrections. I will make the final print pdfs and delivery to the printer. I have a 120 page screenplay that I"m adapting to a graphic novel. At this point, I am looking for an illustrator to draw the first 10 pages. This is a character driven piece with a strong female lead. The themes involved include: the occult, supernatural, battles between dark and light. I am open to experimental styles like some of Neil Gaiman"s collaborations. But I have a pretty set idea of how the main characters are to look and basically need an artist who can take my vision and flesh it out.
