THe product is based upon one that we have built for one of my companies and used for ten years. So we know the subject matter well.The market for these products at the low end is saturated, with the better companies generating less than 20M a year in revenues. However, the upmarket is not well served because serving the upmarket requires multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction, multi-language, multi-site solutions that integrate with the major accounting systems. This means that the upmarket is replacing the last generation of software. And we want that to be us.I am based, along with three developers in Kiev Ukraine. (GMT -2). Our other staff is in Seattle, Washington, USA. We added security that can be applied to any object by role. Then a workflow approval system. And some fairly complex organizational dimension features. We"ve implemented implemented some of the core UI, and in doing so decided to refactor and make some changes to our original design to support the "Tiles" metaphor, which seems to suit our purposes well. By the end of next week, the UI should be "set" in the sense that all the different page layout templates should be completed.Our workflow is casual. I draw screens. We discuss them.
