We are looking for writers with good English and Russian skills to translate how-to articles to Russian. Articles range in length, but average around 6-800 words. You need to have excellent Russian grammar and English comprehension. Computer translated articles will not be accepted. We are not seeking word-for-word, literal translations. Instead, we want you write in natural sounding Russian using the English content as source material.Contractors who do a good job and deliver articles reliably will be offered regular work. The first stage of the job is a 3 article test, which is what you are bidding on here. Good performance on the test will lead to you being offered additional work. We have a large number of articles to translate, and can offer continuous work to those who reliably produce quality articles. As part of your application, we would like you to rewrite the following paragraphs in natural-sounding Russian. Those writers who do a good job with this will be offered a chance to complete the paid test of 3 short articles for a total of $30. Please send this sample in an attachment as part of your cover letter: How to Restore Your Faith in HumanityIntroduction: We are all born receptive to love, kindness and hope. As we grow up, we encounter the less hopeful, more challenging aspects of being human, including discovering that the things humans do at times can be hateful, calculating and unkind. Although this can turn us cynical or leave us feeling helpless, human beings are just as capable of the most incredible, amazing and wonderful kindness and love. And beyond the heroic and fearless acts that occasionally hit the headlines, it is really the everyday, often overlooked actions of deep kindness and caring that restore our faith in humanity; everyday kindnesses like caring words, a reassuring hug, a helping hand-up in times of trouble and the unquestioning acceptance of our worth by a complete stranger. If you"re feeling a little jaded about where humanity is headed, here are some active ways to restore your faith. Steps:Ask people to tell you about the happiest moments in their life. How often do you ask people to recall their happy memories and what makes them happy now? People love talking about what they care about, what motivates them and what makes them happy and yet, it"s not always an obvious topic for general conversation.Warnings:Self-centered, violent and prejudiced ways of seeing our world cloud our ability to see other humans in a kindly manner.

Looking for native Russian speakers to speak to me for an hour on skype. This is meant as practice as I am currently studying the Russian language. This does not have to be structured and we can talk about anything and about different topics, such as film, music, entertainment, movies, dating, etc.It would be good if we could write down some of the key phrases that came up during our conversation afterwards so that I can see them in writing. Again this does not need to be a lot, but perhaps a few that might be useful to remember.Depending on how this goes this could be once a day or every other day or once a week. Really depends on our schedule so we can take it as it goes. Thanks.(I keep track of the words I have already learned which I can share with you and we can try to incorporate them into our talks).

Translation from English into Russian-Ukrainian vs Interpreters and translators convert information from one language to another. Interpreters work in spoken or sign language, translators in written language.
