The ATM Visualizer’s is an application designed to visually show ATMs in their environments, where the viewer can get an actual feel of what they would look like. This project was perfect to incorporate live rendered 3D environment into a “standard” application. Coming from a gaming background I have been interested in taking the “standard” application to a whole new level. Unity was the obvious choice to build this app. With Unity I can work with the 3D environment, as well as build the app for multiple platforms. Platforms now included with Unity are Web, Android, IOS, Blackberry, Win 8 Mobile as well as standalone for Mac, PC and Linux. I created the buildings, environment and ATMs in Blender. I chose Blender because it works seamlessly with Unity and is open source. I really enjoyed this project as I was given complete creative freedom. This was also a huge learning experience for me as I did all development as well.

This was my second Unity project and my first mobile game. I was tasked to manage the entire project from concept to completion. I did all the development as well as all modelling and artwork except for the comic book illustration. Jack Panic, Earth’s greatest astronaut and Hero of the people, is called once again to protect Earth. But during this routine mission Jack accidentally damages an alien mother-ship, insults their leader, and is tele-ported to the other side of the galaxy. An exciting “3d shoot-‘em-up” adventure in full 3D and a fully rendered comic book storyline.
