This is my first project on freelancer.com. Prior to this I used rentacoder.com for years developing my web business with hundreds of projects. Through this experience I found that being careful and picking the right person for the job is everything, particularly with this initial project.In particular I have read that if an Amazon Kindle book is done correctly, with good cover artist being employed, with the editing being done correctly, with the pages rewritten as needed by a professional writer, and that the project being uploaded correctly, that the results are much better.For this project I will be providing a draft word document that needs to be edited significantly, and reformate to be an eBook with a table of contents, redesigned with headlines, chapters, and sections of chapters. Again, all I will provide is a draft in an MS Word Document, between 10,000 to 20,000 words in length. Who is my target audience?Dyslexic high school, college students, and adults with dyslexia who need to improve their writing skills.What do they like? Feel?A structured approach that allows them to quickly increase their writing skills What will they learn?A structured approach to organize their thinking, to break the writing process down to individual components, and to fine-tune what they write in order to improve their writing to an acceptable level for college students.Some of what I need is the fallowing for the editing:Create a Table of Contents (TOC).Insert a page break when youre finished with your chapter to eliminate unnecessary white space so your reader can immediately scroll to the next page. Finished with your TOC? Page break. Finished with your copyright page? Page break. (To insert a page break go to Insert at the top menu bar, then find Page Break).Do not use headers, footers, or any sexy font because it will not translate on the Kindle; they have standard fonts.Bold, italicize, and headings translate well.Images are allowed and should be inserted as .JPGsFormatting of my eBook.I would like this done in HTML, with the final format in PRC.I need my eBook uploaded to Amazon, and I wish to use Kindle Direct Publishing.I wish to enroll in Kindle Select.I need the detail page completed, and a product description.I will need a designer to create a cover page for my eBook, a good designer.I wish to set the royal rate to 70% with a price of $9.99.I will own everything at the end of the project, including the artwork for the cover. After this first book I plan on another 10 projects, assuming everything words out.So yes, I am looking for the project to be taken from a draft MS Word Document from 10,000 to 20,000 words, to a complete upload to Amazon with good artwork for the cover.
