We require a Zabbix system installed from scratch; it will run in a VM on our XEN server.We are a WISP telecoms operators, ISP and a subscription TV operator, we use CISCO, Mikrotiks, UBNT, Motorola Canopy for our network. We need to monitor all the equipment/devices for keep alives. Then we need to monitor a number of parameters like bandwidth, uptime, number of clients, CRC errors, etc... for each device.We need to create dependency map so that if a main link goes down we are not flooded with alerts.Templates for the various types of devicesEscalation processes based on priority and time, dampening. Automatic scripts to be run based on certain events. Forwarding certain alerts via SMSWe have a wifi network that we need to monitor for users, usage, uptime and analysisWe have a TV headend with many SNMP based devices (encoders, multiplexer, servers, modulators) that need to be monitored. Satellite IRDs.We have servers (harddrives, memory, CPU, process monitoring, application monitoring)We need different screens setup showing different information for different people (network graphical view, graphs showing bandwidth and usage, tables of outstanding issues).An on going monthly support contract, we will provide one internal resource to be trained up, it will be your responsibility to fully train this person up and support them on an on going basis. (12 month contract to be reviewed at the end).We will require training on how to use the system as well as how to setup the remote clients to use and send data to the Zabbix system. We have networks distributed across different geographical areas connected by VPN or Internet.We currently have intermapper and have used Nagios in the passed, we do have the expertise to do this ourselves but we don't have the resource capacity to allocate the time.I’d like to have this system easy to add a new host system to monitor by making it simple to just select a template of for example a “Linux system”, “MAC system” or a “Windows system” from a selection of templates and click on which services and resources need monitoring.All the triggers should also be predefined so the template uses the correct triggers if criteria is met or an event takes place, like drive space running out etc.We want to be able to see that client systems are running smoothly, if anything changes that the system alerts us immediately.If possible it would be nice to get an alert if the user installs an application without our knowledge, or if key system files are changed (Virus activity).
