HI, This is Dr.Atef from Egypt. We need your skill to develop a special vibrator that will be used in dental field with the following details:1- Small vibrator motor 30Hz of frequency, force of (0.25 newton- 25 grams) 2- A USB battery charging circuit with led lights indicators for (low battery, charging, full battery) (i have sources for usb charging circuits)3- 2 lithium ion batteries 3.7v*2 with a voltage regulator to output the required 6V for the motor4- LCD screen that shows many data like remaining usage minutes like a countdown from 20 minutes till 0 5- a smart power on\off switch that switch on and off on long press and pause and start vibration on simple press (after switching it on it is supposed to turn off after 20 minutes automatically) 6- the device is supposed to be used 20minutes only per day and no more so that i need an embedded SD card that can be removed and connected to PC software and this card contains data like: duration of usage each day, whether has or has not been used everyday

Hi,We require a PCB design and a prototype made for a device that has a Bluetooth module designed to connect to mobile devices. We are currently designing a separate circuit in house that controls a device. We require this new circuit to be able to send and receive specific commands to and from our circuit. The board will be connected to a mobile device and require a level of security. The mobile device will connect to the board and retrieve a security code of some kind which will then be sent from the mobile device to a remote server to verify permission to use the device. Once permission is granted the user is able to pass commands to our circuit. On going support and possible tweaking of the design will be required once we have received a prototype which will allow completion of our circuit. The circuit will eventually be mass produced. Please advise if you could assist and please do not hesitate to ask any questions.RegardsJustin

Résumé

Experience

Geek In Chief

Nov 2012 - Present (1 year)

Techydude Consulting (Electronics)

A chance encounter with an old friend reminded me how much I love electronics design & coaxing itty bitty microcontrollers to leap through hoops & interface with the 'real world'. So basically, I'M BACK, BABY! I now spend all my free time poking around in the electronics / microcontroller world, seeing what's changed, and that so much hasn't changed a bit, and using Freelancer.com to push my boundaries & provide opportunities for new directions. Loving. It. To. Bits. ;)

Geek In Chief

Mar 2000 - Present (14 years)

Techydude Consulting

In 2000 I began self-employment in small-business IT consulting, meeting the needs of small business clients in Melbourne, and now in Sydney. I cover most of the needs a small business has of IT, from "help! the printer isn't working!", through day-to-day maintenance, to specifying, project managing & implementing/commissioning multi-server multi-site Windows-based IT infrastructure. This is my 'bread & butter'.

Freelance Electronics Design

Apr 1996 - Jul 2006 (10 years)

Self-employed

I completed many freelance electronics & microprocessor design projects for clients 'on the side' from my day-job: general electronics design, microcontroller-based systems, schematic & PCB design in Protel, overall product integration, and gained valuable experience in "Design for Manufacturing" of moderate-complexity SMT PCBs.

Electronics Technician thru to Design Engineer

Jul 1989 - Mar 1996 (6 years)

Jatronics / Filmlab

I began my adult working life at a small electronics design & small-scale manufacturing business, working my way up the 'skills food-chain', from manufacturing, test & repair, electronics design, microcontroller programming, & systems integration in medium-scale industrial control systems of a wide variety.

Education

Electrical / Computer Systems Engineering

University of Technology, Sydney
