## BIO Experience April 2001 to Present CitiCorp UNIX SYSTEMS ENGINEER As an employee of CitiCorp my responsibilities are for the implementation of Sun clusters and development of a Systems Tracking Database written in PHP and Perl with a MySQL backend. June 1999 to March 2001 Performance Technology Group UNIX SYSTEMS ENGINEER As a consultant for PTG my duties include 3rd level systems administration and engineering support for Discovery Communications International (DCI) and Washington Post News Interactive (WPNI). At the DCI site I managed a large environment of SUN, Alpha, and SG I servers. My main responsibilities were for the maintenance and engineering of their Gabriel and SAP production environment and production clusters running on Tru64 4.0F with TCR 1.6, DNS running on Solaris 7, and mail system also running on Solaris 7. Responsible for the design and implementation of DCIs storage area network implementation. I was also responsible for requirements analysis on new projects, tuning existing systems, capacity planning and reengineering of older systems. As a consultant to WPNI I was on call for problems that arose on their Compaq ALPHA systems running Tru64 4.0F and StorageWorks raid systems. Nov 1998 to May 1999 DynCorp LEAD SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR My responsibilities included requirement analysis, engineering, and implementation of systems to support the company wide PeopleSoft implementation. The implementation included the engineering of Disaster Recovery solutions and Highly Available to minimize downtime and outages. May 1997 to Nov 1998 SAIC LEAD SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR My responsibilities included design, implementation, and integration of hardware and software products to meet the customerâEUR(TM)s requirements on schedule and the maintenance of several SGI, DEC, Sun and HP workstations/servers. These duties included design of the cluster (with Oracle Parallel server), the evaluation of third party products to meet the backup demands for the systems and Oracle database, the evaluation of third party products to meet the security requirements (along with scheduling the testing and implementation of these products). Maintaining firewall security, and the performance of regular backups/restores, configuration of the mail system and administration of ClearCase, ClearDDTs, Teamwork, and Oracle. April 1996 to May 1997 The Corporate Software Integrator DATABASE & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR II Managed several Sun/HP/RISC workstations/servers. These duties included the performance of updates to the OS, installation of software and hardware, troubleshooting network problems (including router configurations & dial-in capabilities) and performance of regular backups. Also managed multiple Sybase servers for software testing. These duties included installation, configuration and tuning. Aug 1995 to Apr 1996 Lockheed Martin LEAD BUSINESS SYSTEMS PROGRAMER/ANALYST Under contract to the United States Environmental Protection Agency to develop and maintain WEB documents, CGI programs/scripts Feb 1995 to Aug 1995 New Technologies Management Incorporated SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR Under contract to the United States Department of Agriculture to manage two Sun SPARC10 workstations. These duties included the performance of updates to the OS, installation of software and hardware, troubleshooting network problems and performing regular backups and system maintenance. Sep 1990 to Feb 1995 SAIC TASK MANAGER Managed three contracts with the Department of Energy and modified FORTRAN code for the DOE coal energy forecast models. ANALYST Developed several programs for nuclear proliferation and aircraft performance modeling. Tim was an excellent choice for this vWorker project. He is extremely knowledgeable on many different fronts which contributed to the eventual success of this project. I recommend him for tackling your toughest projects. Tim has a quite demanding fulltime job along with a family. He was able to complete this project in spite of this.
