asked by elilevi 15 September, 2016

Hi! I'am a new member of freelancer.com
I want to get a detailed information about the project. Is it possible to contact the empolyer before bidding, as it seems to me odd to bid on the base of brief description of the project.

Hello Elilevi , i think it's not possible as if you are the employer and you posted a project you will not need all India to contact you :)

First of all, its not possible to contact with the employer before bidding. And second thing is that you can not contact the employer until he sends the message to you.

Dear Elilevi, the short answer is no, and your predicament 'pre-bid' is appreciated.
May I suggest that you Bid for the project and take the opportunity to try to allow for likely contingencies by using 'Additional Services Offered' section.

Unfortunately, you cannot message the client before you make a bid. The only way you can communicate with the employer, like my fellow Freelancers have stated, is if you have already done a project with them and they are in your contacts. You usually write when making a bid that they are welcome to message you if they have any questions. I hope our advice helps you!

No it's not, even after you bid the employer has to contact you first to open the message system. That's how the system works. It serves to help the employee make a choice rather than getting lots of distrubing messages from people he doesn't want to work with.
