My first review was negative.

asked by Dane 21 March, 2016

I tested a "google chrome plugin", milestone was complete, and I was paid. The milestone involved making a post to a political affiliated website via "google open comments." My post was made on time. A requirement of the post made was that someone had to reply to it. No time limit was given to the reply. I am unable to leave feedback, because the time limit has expired. Can I contest this?

Hire Me

This is an excellent question, one that I too wish that someone would answer. I was left with a poor review, and no rating, due to a project being labeled as incomplete. The reality of the situation is that the Hirer was not happy with my international time zone and when I was online. (Plus some really awful weather that left us with flooding and power outages.) Anyway, I would like to know if there is a way to contest a review? Or provide feedback on an employer if they mark a project incomplete before responding to communications.

Hire Me

The best outcome would be keep in repeated contact with the Client and negotiate. Freelancer leaves it to the client in this aspect, I once had a dishonest client, who paid 1 milestone got the job done and I delivered the rest but instead of paying the next milestone filed a incomplete report and just vanished. The important points to consider are 1. Make sure your employer creates milestones 2) Do the work in desired quality and time 3) If something like mentioned happens try your best to message the client and resolve it ammicably,
