Did you know that Freelancer not only takes a fee from the contest holder but a 50% fee of the winning prize from the Designer???? Only saying here because think it's time the contest holders knew how much Freelancer are making on both them and us.... 50% is shocking... yes they are a portal but to take 50% how is that morally ok?

The examples what you attached are letterpress business cards and designers only imitate those effects. It would be much easier if you give us some explanation what do you want exactly. Rating every design with 1 star won't move closer to your goal.

  Work on a clean, elegant and not low end typographic design. Simple but impactful.

  That's what some participants posted and you rated them with 1 and 2 star :D
  Instead a contest you could search a freelancer who have experience on this field and with them you can work together on the card. You could save a lot of time for yourself, but if not, then that's your decision.
