I’m looking for a VFX artist to enhance a scene with cinematic magical effects. Please download and use the footage below. Footage:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DGdp-291GCVZpgRR9aUzmEL7gJAVhc4Y/view?usp=drive_link The witch tries to use her magic on the other character, but it fails and doesn’t work. I need visual effects to show her trying to use her magic and failing, with the magic having little effect on the other character around 00:09–00:13 and again around 00:14–00:16. Try to avoid going too extreme with the VFX. Listen to the music and pay attention to how calm the scene feels—the VFX should complement that mood rather than overpower it. The second time she attempts to use her magic, don’t apply any VFX to the other character. As you can see, it isn’t necessary there; the focus should remain on her during that moment. Around 00:15 - 00:16. For the magic effect at the end, think of it like a failing electrical socket. She’s trying to draw power from it, but nothing is happening—the energy should feel weak, unstable, and ultimately unsuccessful. Please avoid AI since it effects frame to frame continuity in the timeline. For the final render, I believe the output should match the original footage settings, as it will be placed back into the Premiere Pro timeline. Raw/ungraded, without any additional colour grading. Creative ideas welcome.
