Contest Brief

I'm a hobbyist photographer and i'm looking for an artist to sketch out an idea for a shoot that, because it's more physical than what's currently floating round in my head, will help me visualise lighting and posing.

Nothing too technical. Literally just a sketch.


I have an idea for a shoot where the model will be standing in front of a full length mirror, the "real" model (to the right of the image), will be turned to totally face the camera, with her back to the mirror.


The Model, Sam, will be wearing a wedding gown she owns, which you can see here: https://goddiva.co.uk/products/bandeau-sequin-and-chiffon-maxi-wedding-dress-white

The model already owns this dress and i'll be buying a second one, identical.

OK, that takes care of the "Real" Sam. Now for the "Alternate" Sam in the mirror.

this Sam will have the dress ragged and torn, (as if dragged through a hedge backwards?) her mascara will be running, hair a mess, silently pleading to her "real" self, though the Real Sam, facing the camera with her back to the mirror, will be oblivious to it.

The Mirror image is trying to warn Sam of a future where the "marriage" has not gone well.

So Sam standing in front of mirror, facing camera, wedding gown, bridal makeup, happiest day of her life, whilst behind her, in the mirror, her future self, silently screams a warning.

This is what is in my head, if you can sketch it, rough, with some detail, doesn't have to be too technical, just to get a solid, tangible idea that can be used to give a clearer idea to Sam, also the stylist and the makeup artist, and finally for me to be able to fine tune what lighting setup i'll need.
