UPDATE: The "fish" in our name is an actual fish called a TAILOR (note, we spelt the name differently for our company name)....so any fish in the logo should more closely resemble that type of fish (check Google for "tailor fish" to see images).
This is a re-branding exercise.
The current logo is a little childish. We aspire to be more. It lacks the depth of our approach. It does not reflect that we work for Fortune 1000 companies. It does not build trust that we are a global company with the ability to help companies put together their strategic direction.
People love the story of our company name. And we want to maintain a personal connection with our clients.
The twin-button looking like a set of APPs are something we enjoy but are not stuck on.
Our brand is built on our company foundation. We help companies solve complex problems, address challenges, and answer deep questions. We work collaboratively with our clients. We are strictly accelerators of their own internal abilities. We do not come with all the answers. Rather, we find ways to get the best out of our clients own employees. We help them find the gems. Searching, finding, and exploring are a part of our nature.
Starfish Taylor name is closely connected to our methodology. Starfish Taylor is the name of an explorer and adventurer. And this is the reason we chose the company name to begin with. The name is close to our own story with each new client brief. We explore the territory of their challenges with them. We listen to their fears and their unspoken issues. We help them articulate the deep issues and then design events to address those issues.

STAR is the workshop process. It also represents teams of people going out on their own, and then coming back to the group. ie, the points of the Star.
STARFISH is also a GEM that you find on the bottom of the seabed after you have sorted through all the "noise" above. The GEM is the unique idea that people in our workshops come up with, once we have helped remove the noise. The GEM is the answer to the riddle. The solution to the problem. The manner in which to address the challenge.
For that is what we do. We set out on amazing journeys with our clients. No 2 are the same. We go to unchartered territory. We help clients climb mountains, dive oceans, reach the stars, and come back to make it all work.
