***UPDATE***
We extended the contest 3 days to implement our feedback based on what we liked. Please use the following information:
1. Name: Park Chalet Coastal Beer Garden
2. Include "Est. 2004"
3. Black and green (possibly blue or white) colors. Think "Coastal" colors
We have 3 distinct directions:
Option 1: Include elements 1-3 above. For imagery, consider including beer elements, windmills, nautical items (old diver helmet, nets, fish, mermaids), seafood. It is encouraged to creatively include "Park Chalet Coastal Beer Garden" in a cool way.
Option 2: Just two letters "PC" as the main name (possibly text underneath, maybe not). We like how the Hoffbrauhaus logo is simple and clean (now included below for reference). Instead of a crown consider an old nautical "Diver's Helmet" or a mermaid reaching for a beer or spearing a fish.
ORIGINAL BRIEF
Hello Talented Global Designers!
We need your help making our restaurant (Park Chalet) a new and modern logo that reflects our "coastal beer garden" brand in San Francisco. We are located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco California, and we serve primarily seafood and also have our own brewery upstairs at our sister restaurant Beach Chalet. Think "handcrafted beer and quality seafood stretched out on the park grass on a hot summer day" kind of feel.
Since we are located in Golden Gate Park, SF locals eat out on the lawn for a truly unique dining experience. Our previous logo was green and black. Looking to have a modern but approachable feel to the logo.
Mock-ups encouraged! Please plan to deliver the finished file as well as an editable AI or Photoshop file (depending on whichever you are using). Bonus points if you hand-off a web file, high res file and low res file. Thank you!!!

As far as imagery: Please rework your designs to now consider a mermaid reaching for a beer, a mermaid spinning slightly reaching for a beer, or a mermaid spearing a fish. THANK YOU! Sorry for the last-minute change, we just found out from the Owner that the name was changing.

Hello Vpavliuk, I like the windmill instead of the tree. Also worth noting, Ocean Beach is right across the street. not sure how it would look with any wave elements on one side and the park/windmill elements on the other. Thank you!

Hello Tinmaik, thanks for submitting! The designs are beautiful but a bit feminine for what we are going for. Keep in mind we have a brewery, and are more upscale. Consider adding beach elements on one side, and park elements on the other. Or focus on the "Park Chalet" being included in the actual logo somehow instead of just written underneath. Thanks!

Please keep in mind this is an upscale SF restaurant. I'll add new assets right now of the logo of the sister restaurant so you can see what we went with for that particular restaurant. Clean, concise and modern imagery is encouraged. Also, just "Park Chalet" may also be acceptable. Thank you!!
