Contest Brief

Hey! My name is Tyler and I need a professional logo/design in AI format to put on a stainless steel protein shaker bottle. I'm not as creative as I'm sure all of you are, and so far I have decided that I would like the design to be associated with the idea of a METAL bottle. Maybe something to do with forging metal? Maybe incorporating the english prefix "META" which means "BEYOND" in the design? With that said I am very open to different names/ideas/designs. The stainless steel protein shaker is the first item my company will be selling, but I plan to sell other sports/fitness/nutrition equipment as time goes on. At the end of the day what I am really looking for is a design that is modern, sleek, strong, aggressive, and eye-catching. A design that will make my shaker bottle more appealing to the 16-30 male gym going crowd. I will provide photos of my competitors and there designs so you can get an idea of the competition and the designs already out there. So the design can only consist of two different colors. I like the idea of either dark blue or dark green color featured with a black/grey/white. This design is very important to me and I'm very excited to see what you all come up with.

UPDATE: I like the colors dark grey/dark green and I like the name METAL MIXER. I also like the idea of the logo to be icon based, meaning that the text, Metal Mixer, is just designed text near the icon. I also like the idea of metal chain links linked together to make the shape of 2 M's (Metal Mixer) as an icon. I'm still open to all ideas and my mind seems to change with every new design I see. I think the winning design could be a variation of the idea that there are 2 M's in the name Metal Mixer, and an incorporation of metal chains in the icon. The original brief describes the logo I am looking for and if you feel that you have a design that will win my heart other than what I described in the update than by all means go for it! I still have a very open mind and want to see what you all can deliver! Thanks!

I've had some of you give me icons that resembled chain links, or something of the sort. I like that idea. Keep working. If you could give the icon a metal texture that would be cool too. Remember to stay within 2 colors though. I'm also planning on using a black coated steel shaker cup, so keep that in mind when you make the designs.
