Contest Brief

I am in need of a logo for a new company which imports and markets high-end, very elegant tango shoes. Our market is about 90% female. The company name is Zapatos Zofie.

Most importantly, the logo should convey elegance and simplicity. As well, it would be nice if it graphically referenced the fact that we source our shoes from all over the world and sell many different brands (most of our competitors only source from one country and only offer one brand of shoe). In general, I prefer a hand-drawn, fine art, sort of look, rather than something that is clearly computer generated. Graphically, the word "Zofie" should receive much more emphasis than the word "Zapatos" (shoes in Spanish), which simply lets people now what we do.

In general, a monochromatic look, black on white, or white on black, or some shades of grey, would be more practical. However, have not completely ruled out some color. Full color would be difficult.
