Contest Brief
Our company makes the world's smallest breadboard-friendly Bluetooth 4.2 module and we need your help getting the word out. Our module is described here: http://www.makerchips.com/about
We want you to dream up a cool mini-project (using our module) that you can design, implement and blog about. The mini-project should demonstrate an eye-catching use of our module, possibly together with a phone app and/or other basic components (GPS/sensors/whatever).
After the project is complete, we would like you to create a write-up that explains what you did and demonstrate how to replicate it for a novice.
We'll choose several of the best general interest mini-project ideas to fund and provide a free BluChip Explorer Kit ($55 value) containing everything you need to get started. Once the project is complete, we'll pay you $150 for the source code and blog post as described below.
Process:
* First, you submit your mini-project idea along with a short description of similar embedded projects that you have completed and an example of a blog post or other writing sample.
* Next, we award one or more of our favorite mini-project ideas from freelancers with demonstrated embedded software and technical writing experience.
* Finally, you complete the mini-project and the writeup. We take delivery of the source code and verify that it works correctly and is of reasonable quality.
Deliverables:
* An original idea for a mini-project incorporating our BluChip module
* Working, well-documented, original source code that we can post on github. Feel free to make use of open-source code, but your project should do something unique and should correctly cite the sources of third-party source code.
* A medium-length text + picture description of the project idea and implementation, suitable for a blog post

Employer Feedback
“Excellent work from start to finish! We were particularly impressed with the detailed project plan and responses to questions that came up along the way. Both the source code and written content that Jeevan created significantly exceeded our expectations.”
