Contest Brief

We want to offer our customers a birthday party invitation card.
We rent laser tag gear (lasergame, lasershooting) and many parents are renting or gear for the birthday of their kids ( age 7 till 14 years ).

We want you to draw a few drawings that we can use on these birthday party’s invitation cards.

We want to have at least 3 drawings.

You should draw kids playing a laser tag game.
We use the following guns, so you should use them in your drawing:

Most of our customers are Belgian boys (European) age 10.
But you should:
• Include some girls
• Include some multicultural aspects ( For example an Asian kid )

Most of our customers play in forests or in a park nearby. They play in daylight or at night (But a very dark card in not favorable for an inkjet printer !)

You should include birthday elements like:
• A cake
• Party hats
• Garlands
To make it harder for other companies to steal our cards you should include our logo (FaceTheAction.be) on the t-shirts or caps of the kids.

Do not use text on these cards. We will use your drawing to make a card and write our own text in different languages (Belgium is 3-lingual).

We will print the birthday cards in A5 format so please keep in mind these dimensions.

Dear Illustrators,

Thanks to all participants, you delivered awesome work.
We asked friends, school children and customers to choose their favorite birthday card.
We would like to buy a lot more illustrations, but our funds are limited.
This is the conclusion of the research.

Information for this contest. We will give 150 euro to 1 illustrator, ( the one that we like the mos)t. He has to design 3 drawing. But we will choose 2 other drawings of 2 other illustrator. Each illustrator will get 50 euro for 1 drawing.

Additional information : Please be aware that our customers will print these drawings as birthday invitations. So make the main background color white. So the birthday card has to be inkjet printer friendly :).
