Logo design for premium kitchen accessory brand - 2 concepts needed

  • Status: Closed
  • Prize: $111
  • Entries Received: 97

Contest Brief

Hey guys,

we need two high-class logos with the following requirements. Two logo concepts are required because we will pick the final brand name based on which one looks best with the design you choose:

brand name and concept 1: "Lindeloev"
brand name and concept 2: "Loev&Söhne"

You are free to use the same style for both names if you like. Any suggestion is welcome.

IDEA: both are brand names of Scandinavian descent that stand for clear design language with focus to the essential and high product quality for customers with high expectations

STYLE: rather minimalist in 2D. Whether you do text only or add a shape or symbol is up to you.

PRODUCT RANGE: vegetable cutters, vegetable spiral slicers, kitchen electronics. Later possibly also more household gadgets so I would not make the logo too kitchen specific. It needs to work for a variety of premium household products

TARGET GROUP: 70% women, 30% men mostly aged 20-49 with middle and high income that like to spend extra money on beautiful design.

MARKETPLACES: Mostly Europe and US

TECHNICAL:

- vector files needed
- source files needed
- hi-res transparent PNG files needed

It would be great if you allowed for revisions in case they are needed.
A winner won't be picked before the contest ends.

Thank you very much for your participation and your efforts,

Michael

    Hello everyone,

as the contest is still running I'd like to give some general feedback.

I took a look at all entries so far and I'd encourage you not to be too experimental with the use of different colors. The logo will be used most on white background but other background colors are also possible. Sticking to black font color should do the job for most surfaces. Also, most premium brands are usually monochrome and very simple in design.

If the logos are kept clean, simple, modern and unique I think you're on the best route.
