Contest Brief

Task: Using AutoCad, Produce basic floor plans for a residential apartment building.
Accepted file format: DWG only

Deliverables:
- Cellar Floorplan
- Ground Floor Floorplan
- Floors 2 to 7 Typical Floor Plan


Important Information:
- Lot Dimensions: 13.5m x 24m
- Lot Area: 324m2
- Building Footprint Dimensions: 13.5m x 15.8m
- Building Footprint Area: 213.3m2


Building Requirements:
- The building may only have windows in the front and back (it has existing 7 story neighbor buildings butted up on both sides).
- Include a small 6 person Elevator
- Include Stairs. Each step must be at least 1.2m wide and 0.28m tread. The stairs must be enclosed in walls. This is a standard fire safety regulation.
- All Bedrooms and Living Rooms must have windows


Building Program:
- Cellar: Parking
The cellar can occupy 100% of the lot size (13.5m x 24m)
Each Parking space must be 2.3m x 4.5m
- Ground Floor: Building Lobby, Amenity Space, Parking
- Floor 2 to 7: Each floor must have two 2 bedroom apartments and one 1 bedroom apartment.
18 Apartments Total (3 per floor)

Apartment Requirements:
- 1 Bedroom / 2 bathroom Apartment: Living Room / Dining Area / Kitchen (this can be one open continuous loft type space), 1 Bathroom for guests, 1 Bedroom with its own bathroom
- 2 Bedroom / 3 bathroom Apartment: Living Room / Dining Area / Kitchen (this can be one open continuous loft type space), 1 Bathroom for guests, 2 Bedrooms with their own bathrooms

    Hola estimado cliente, yo ya tenia mi diseño listo para subirlo. De todas forma hare un segundo proyecto basandome en las normas de construcción de la ciudad con tal de que puedas tener un proyecto que puedas realizar solo haciendo pequeños ajustes que por lo general pide la ciudad. Yo subire los dos diseños para este proyecto en tres dias a ultima hora.

    After many trials and scketches, the plot area is too narrow for the requirements per floor, I think you should dispense some needs, for example replacing the toilet in each room with sahred toilet .... etc

    Hola estimado cliente, si es en Bogotá te cuento que hay que diseñar por norma (building code). Aqui las licencias de construccion son un poco demoradas y pueden tardar entre 4 y 12 meses. Voy a iniciar con el diseño pero te cuento en en algunos sectores de la ciudad hay restricción de altura. De cualquier modo en caso de que te guste mi diseño yo podré ayudarte desde este misma ciudad, tengo cinco año de experiencia trabajando en Bogotá y tengo matricula profesional para tramitar licencias en la ciudad.

      Hola Yuri. Los estacionamientos en el primer nivel pueden ser cubiertos y/o descubiertos. No se ha definido el uso exacto de los "amenities" o espacios comunales. Puedes simplemente dejar espacios en blanco que seran desarrollados posteriormente.
