Question: How do geographical and social factors influence the varieties of English that people speak?

English; examples of characteristic features and variables such as verb-forms and aspects of
pronunciation; style-shifting and the social and cultural factors involved, as well as the linguistic
mechanisms by which this is done; the differentiation between the geographical and social factors as
influences; link to the theme of identity in use of a particular variety.
You should acknowledge the sources you have used or consulted by giving proper citations and
