Contest Brief
NEED ASAP. FIRST APPROVED DESIGN WILL BE AWARDED.
I have an Excel spreadsheet that lays out every room dimension, note and circulation idea for a new single-family home. I now need that raw data translated into a clear, professional floor plan that meets Australian drafting conventions and is ready for council submission and builder pricing.
The plan must read like a finished residential drawing set. That means all walls, windows and doors are set out to scale, but also the extras I have listed: full furniture layout so we can test clearances, labelled electrical outlets and light fixtures, plumbing points for kitchen, bathrooms and laundry, plus the location of fans and both internal and external A/C units. A lighting and ceiling fan layout is required. If something in the spreadsheet is ambiguous, flag it and I will clarify before you lock the layout.
Please work in AutoCAD, Revit or a comparable CAD package so the file is editable later. Keep dimensions in millimetres, apply standard Australian symbols and line weights, and supply:
• CAD source file
• Print-ready PDF at A3 with legend and north arrow
• Simple revision cloud for any changes we discuss
I will share the spreadsheet and hand-written notes as soon as we start; one round of revisions is included so the final drawing aligns exactly with my brief.
It should be similar to the example attached.
