Contest Brief

I'm looking for a new logo for our website VEHQ.com. The current logo reflects our original focus on RV's and towing, but we've moved to covering more auto-related topics. At this point, the site is about RVs, pickup trucks, cars of various types and driving in general, and we need a logo that will reflect that.

A good motif is a road - maybe turn the letter E into a road - but keep it very easy to read.

The logo needs to send a message of a solid source of information. Not be too whimsical or fun. Looking for an overall clean, minimalist design. The site name - [login to view URL] - should be very easy to read.

The color palette should stay in the red/black/gray zone.

The logo needs to be horizontal and look good as a site header. I also need a square version for social media profiles, as well as a distinct site icon (for the .ico file).

Great submission so far, everyone - thank you! As general feedback, we'd like to stay away from sports cars or fancy cars. We have a large section of RV content on the site too. With that in mind, a logo that expresses the road is a good direction. Especially in a minimalist way, such as making the E into a road symbol.
