Project Description: Batch-script (.bat) for ftp-backup
I am looking for a freelancer who can create a batch-script (.bat) for backing up my documents to a specific FTP server.
Details:
Function upload:
- Select a file from local PC: "C:\documents\timetable.docx"
- Copy it to a ftp-server an rename it to "filename+date+time" (for example timetable-2023-09-23-19-30-55.docx)
- Delete all old files (keep the newest 10 files; delete all other/older files)
Function download:
- Connect to FTP-Server
- Download the latest/newest file from ftp-server to local PC.
When I start the script I want to be asked:
"Do you want to upload or download? Enter u oder d."
If succesfully uploaded or downloaded print "Upload/Download successfull".
It need to run on a windows 10-Computer.
File-size of uploading/downloading-file is max 0,5 MB.
